    Technology Week

Posted on November 6th, 2017 by Scouter Donna

Scouts are working on a Technology Personal Achievement Badge.  Scouts are asked to bring in ancient, old and new Technology this week.  Anything from before the invention of the engine to the most modern latest and greatest technology.  Books with pictures about technology would be welcome as well.

This is the first of 5 activities Scouts will be doing to earn the Technology Badge.

    Apple Day

Posted on September 27th, 2017 by Scouter Donna

Apple Day is October 7, 2017.  All sections will meet at Richard’s Memorial Church at 9:30am Saturday morning.  Youth will be broken into groups of two or three and sent to varies locations around our area of East London.  We ask that parents or Guardians plan on staying for the duration of the morning with their child.  Apple Day would not be successful without the help of parents!  Some locations will require a car to get to, but other locations will be walkable from the Church.  As the morning progresses a Scouter will be around to check up on all youth and give you more apples or switch your location if needed.

We usually wrap up around noon on Saturday and ask that everyone meet back at the Church to hand in their money cans and remaining apples.

There will be hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for all those volunteering back at Richard’s Memorial Church.

If you have any questions please contact your Section Scouter.

Thanks and hope to see everyone there!

    Scouter Donna
