Thanks to the generosity of London Mitsubishi we have the opportunity to go see a London Lightning game on Saturday April 15, 2017. 7:30 pm.  gates open 1 hour prior to start time!
There’s just one catch, Scouts and London Mitsubishi thought this would be a great opportunity for us to also help the London Food Bank out. So for each ticket requested you will need to bring in a non perishable food item.  There will be a bin set up at the church for the section leaders to place the food into and keep track of the number of tickets being requested, or you can bring your food donation to camp and give to Scouter Phil.  You have till March 30th to get your food donation in.  Tickets will be picked up after march 30th and given out there after.
So, if you would like 4 tickets, you’ll bring 4 non perishable food items. I food item = 1 ticket….. It’s a win/win for all and for the cost of a caned food item you save $13-$17 a ticket.

    Argyle Santa Claus Parade

Posted on December 3rd, 2016 by Scouter Robin

    Argyle Santa Claus Parade

    Saturday December 10 2016

    Arrival time:  12:45

    Parade starts at 2pm

Meeting place – at the float, parking lot of Home Depot (Clarke/Dundas)

PLEASE LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS AT HOME (ie: stuffies, toys, etc.  These items in the past have been left on the float and lost.  Thank you).

    Please note:

There will be no parking available at Home Depot this year.  It is being reserved for floats only.

66th will be meeting at Richards Memorial Church and walking up as a group to Home Depot.  Please arrive at Richards Memorial Church NO LATER than 12:45.  We will walk over to the float to be there for 1pm.  The BIA is asking that all participants arrive on time.

We are float #69 – this means we are near the end of the parade, near Santa Claus 🙂  This also means that our Scouts and Vents will be helping to pick up garbage along the parade route once again this year.

Shuttle service has been arranged to bring back people to their vehicles – the shuttle will leave the parking area at Crabby Joe’s and return to East Side Mario’s.  If you have other pick up arrangements, please advise these individuals that the parking lot of McMaster’s is being restricted to float traffic only and they may meet you at Crabby Joe’s.

Additional parking is being reserved across the street at CIBC and East Side Marios.

    Thank you everyone!
